Purchasing Coordinator
Job Description:

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Purchasing & Procurement Coordinator with strong procurement, administrative, clerical, and basic accounting experience to support our operations and help drive procurement excellence.
Position Overview:
This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the confidence to effectively present ideas, proposals, and solutions to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role supports purchasing operations, vendor management, and inventory control, while also assisting with key administrative duties such as invoice reconciliation, data entry, and internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and process accurate and timely purchase orders to vendors.
- Track and follow up on purchase order deliveries; expedite orders as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date procurement and inventory records, including lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Support Sr. Management with inventory planning and forecasting.
- Assist with invoice verification, reconciliation, and coordination with accounting.
- Maintain internal databases and spreadsheets with accurate, updated purchasing information.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including filing, documentation, and report preparation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to procurement and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams and departments to ensure purchasing needs are met on time and within budget.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, internal teams, and leadership.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support preferred; candidates with transferable experience in areas such as sales, finance, or customer service are also encouraged to apply
- Strong administrative and clerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with invoice processing and purchase order tracking.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor Vision, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis, automation, or workflow optimization is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to confidently present ideas and recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, while also being a reliable team player.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
- Engineering experience, including the ability to use CAD software and interpret technical drawings, is not required but considered beneficial.
- High School Diploma or GED required; AA degree or coursework in Business, Supply Chain, or Accounting preferred.

Pay/Salary:
$60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year depending on education / experience / ability
