( CSF #7245 + #8365 + #8375)
CSF has been at the forefront of developing cooling systems for classic and enthusiast vehicles that either no long have OE support or are incredibly expensive and hard to find. Boden Autohaus recently added a Ford GT to their stables and discovered the Radiator, Heat Exchanger, and optional Transaxle (transmission oil) Cooler were discontinued by Ford. These discontinued parts are nearly impossible to find used and when you do, the prices are staggering. After learning this, Boden reached out to the Cooling Experts at CSF for a solution.
CSF Worked hard with both Boden Autohaus and Throtl to develop this new cooling package for their Ford GT SEMA Builds. Both cars will be at SEMA 2025 featuring the 3-Piece kit with the Throtl Ford GT debuting at the WD-40 Booth (Central Hall 24493) on Tuesday November 4th.
#7245 Radiator – Design & Engineering
CSF has been making the highest quality High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiators for decades. With an industry-leading reputation and deep knowledge of high-performance cooling systems, our engineering team set to work to design the best possible radiator for this legendary supercar.
CSF vs OEM
Due to the massive amount of heat generated by the supercharged V8, the factory radiator core was a massive 1-row 68mm thick. There wasn’t much room to expand on this, so CSF match the 68mm thickness but with updated cooling technology.
The CSF radiator features a 2-Row 68mm aluminum core that greatly improves the cores ability to dissipate heat. CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. Between the 4 additional rows of cooling tubes/fins and 2-row core, the CSF Radiator outperforms the OEM unit by a significant margin. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. The radiator mounts in the factory location and requires no modifications or cutting. It can be paired with the OE heat exchanger or the new CSF #8365 High-Performance Supercharger Heat Exchanger.
The TIG-Welded 100% All Aluminum construction increases the overall strength of the radiator. This improves durability and longevity so you can be confident this will be the last radiator you will need to buy for your Ford GT.

#8365 Intercooler Heat Exchanger – Design & Engineering
Front mount heat exchangers are effectively radiators for the charge-air-cooling system. With them stacked in front of the radiator, careful consideration must be given to their design, flow, and effects on the rest of the cooling system. CSF specializes in Air-to-Water systems and is the #1 choice for heat exchangers for some of the fastest and most powerful race cars in the world.
CSF vs OEM
The factory heat exchanger is fairly well matched to the charge-air-cooler system designed by Whipple. However, there is room for improvement as cooling technology has improved quite a bit since the early 2000s when these cars were designed.
The CSF Intercooler Heat Exchanger features a 1-Row 31mm aluminum core with CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology. The B-Tube design increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. With ~32% more cooling tubes & fins, the CSF Radiator will outperform the OEM unit by a significant margin. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance and airflow to the radiator behind it. The heat exchanger mounts in the factory location and requires no modifications or cutting.
The TIG-Welded 100% All Aluminum construction increases the overall strength of the radiator. This improves durability and longevity so you can be confident this will be the last heat exchanger you will need to buy for your Ford GT.

#8375 Transaxle Cooler Kit – Design & Engineering
Most Ford GT owners know how hot the transmission can get even on just a casual drive. While many opted for the dealer optioned transaxle cooler from Ford Motorsport, there are plenty that left the showroom floor without one. With this part being discontinued, the only options for upgrades or replacements are custom or kits put together by companies using universal cores. CSF is changing that with this complete bolt on kit with a custom built core specifically for the Ford GT.
CSF vs OEM
The original OE transaxle cooler worked fairly well given the design and cooler tech at the time. There is also room for improvement for the cooler and the original lines. CSF’s Transaxle Cooler kit features a robust Bar & Plate Oil Cooler paired with laser cut mounting brackets and Motorsports grade lines with patented quick release fittings by DYME PSI.
Compared to the Ford Motorsport unit, the CSF cooler has 90% more core volume and is almost double the thickness. The line inner diameter has also been increased for better flow and to maximize efficiency. CSF’s “Aero-Flow” Bar Design for offers the best possible heat dissipation while being lightweight, strong, and while maintaining maximum flow.
The laser cut mounting brackets bolt into the factory location requiring no modifications (drilling or cutting) to install. CSF also included pre-plugged 1/8 NPT ports on both tanks for running extra temp sensors or to use as bleeder ports. The oil cooler has a satin black finish for extreme protection against corrosion and debris.
DYME Performance Systems Inc. Fittings & Hoses
CSF partnered with DYME PSI for their exceptional quality and innovative quick-release hose and fitting solutions. The DYME Pro/Spec Quick Release Fittings offer race-proven performance with the convenience of tool-free clamshell removal and capable of withstanding up to 10,000 PSI. Quick Release fittings make the installation of the CSF kit much faster than traditional threaded fittings. In addition, they make maintenance like fluid changes much less of a headache.
The hoses are a Superstrasse CPE lined stainless steel braided rubber hose for maximum flexibility, flow, and chemical resistance. The lines are ideal for motorsports use and more than capable of handling the rigors of off-roading.
