The SEMA Show is always an exciting experience filled with new builds, fresh ideas, and the latest and greatest products. This year’s show had a solid showing of Cooled by CSF builds as normal and we love to highlight them to show our appreciation.

CSF Booth and Display

CSF brought the heat this year with the widest variety of new products we’ve ever shown. While BMW has always been our biggest market, we have always been a big player in the wider Euro, Domestic, and JDM markets. CSF has spent the last year developing a lot more products and expending those other product lines more than ever.

Cooled by CSF SEMA Builds

Domestic Builds

Throtl – 2005 Ford GT

The team at Throtl pick up a wrecked 2005 Ford GT for their SEMA project this year. Needless to say, they had their work cutout for them. CSF provided the Radiator, Heat Exchanger, and Transaxle Cooler for the build. All of which are no longer available from Ford and impossible to find used. CSF is now the only company in the world offering these cooling solutions for the 2005-2006 Ford GT.

2005 Ford GT Build Playlist:

Boden Autohaus – 2005 Ford GT

Boden was the first to approach CSF about producing cooling products for the Ford GT. The owner added a 2005 to his stable and quickly discovered there were no options available on the market. CSF worked closed with them on development on the new kit to ensure peak performance and perfect fitment.

FORD GT UNLEASHED – Burning Rubber with Mr. Boden Himself

@los.built.00 – Ford Bronc Hoe

The “Bronc Hoe” is a LS2 twin turbo long travel 1988 Ford Bronco with a Gen 2 Raptor front end. This was one of the wilder builds we saw at SEMA and earned a well deserved spot in the Toyo Treadpass. With a build like this, you need to make sure the cooling system is perfect. For that, they selected the R-1 Triple-Pass Competition Radiator (CSF #8023).

Euro Builds

BMW SEMA Builds

Mehrwerks – S54 BMW E21 Group 5 tube chassis race car

Damon Mehr had been slowly building this custom tube chassis race car in secret and revealed it as his SEMA build just this year. The car is running complete E46 M3 front and rear subframes paired with an S54 turbo. It started life as a 1978 BMW 320i and features a full custom tube frame chassis along with some of the best aftermarket parts available. Damon turned to CSF for the Ultimate Cooling solution for this one of a kind build. He opted for a 24x12x3 Bar & Plate Core (CSF #8067) to build his intercooler, two KING Cooler Radiators (CSF #7065), and a Universal Dual-Pass Oil Cooler (CSF #8201)

@marv_gts – S52 BMW E21 Group5

CSF is proud to be such a long term partner of Marv being his choice of cooling for countless builds. His most recent project was this 1980 BMW 320i converted to E21 Group5. Powered by an Build S52 engine it features CSF’s E36 Swap Radiator (CSF #7211) and Engine Oil Cooler (CSF #8240).

CAtuned – E28 reborn

This isn’t just some random project. CAtuned’s founder Igor has owned this car for almost 20 years and was his daily driver for many of them. He wanted to restore the car with some tasteful updates to show his love for a timeless classic that has served him well. Using their own swap mounts, the is now running a supercharged S52 motor running our E36 Swap Radiator.

Larry Chen – BMW E30

It had been a dream of Larry’s since purchasing his BMW Spec-E30 to create this livery to pay homage to the 80’s era DTM racing where the cars from that series have been immortalized for us. The car looks amazing and Larry does compete with this car in the NASA Spec E30 Racing Series. Naturally, he relies on CSF for cooling for his racecar like he does with all his other vehicles.

Riamu Design – BMW G80 M3

Riamu Design owner Umair put together a fresh take on the G80 M3 with his SEMA build. From the unique livery to the custom spec’d HRE wheels, it was a definite standout at the show. His M3 sports the massively successful CSF G8X Cooling Suite and has plenty of “Go” to match the “show”.

Flossmann – BMW G82 M4 GTR Widebody

This M4 was debuted at SEMA 2024 original but is back and looking fresh as ever. The GTR widebody still looks amazing and our friends at Studio RSR were the ones who installed the CSF G8X Cooling Suite last year.

Mashimarho – BMW G80 M3

While not a new build, Mashimarho’s M3 is always great to see. Like all the fastest G8X’s in the world, they are running the full CSF G8X Cooling Suite.

R44 Performance – BMW G87 M2 AWD

While not a debut, it’s always a treat seeing the R44 M2 in person. Every part of this car was built to the nines, makes 1500 horsepower, and runs the 1/4 mile in 8.2 seconds. The CSF G8X Cooling Suite keeps this beast cool on and off the track.

Mercedes SEMA Builds

@smokedogg_customs – Mercedes 300 SEL (the Blue Boar)

This chopped, dropped, widened, and twin turbocharged one-of-one build has so many ideas brought to life and made real. Alan Iwamoto build the car on a custom tube frame chassis and used our C6 Corvette Radiator (CSF #7223) to keep the twin-turbocharged engine cool.

Porsche SEMA Builds

@rev_sect / project935x – Porsche 935X Artcar

This 935X got a facelift this year for the SEMA show and it looks better than ever. CSF has been on the forefront of Air Cooled Porsche performance and this 935X features our massive IROC style Dual-Pass Oil Cooler (CSF #8110) out front.

Indecent – #014 991 Indecent 911

This special commission build was inspired by the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Green Lobster and they spared no expense. The list of parts is quite exhaustive and they took every detail into account when designing and building this 911. This Porsche wasn’t just build for look though. The custom suspension was engineered by Eisenlohr racing and made by AST/Moton and the engine is cooled by our 3-Piece Radiator set (CSF #7060 / #7066 / #7067).

Bisimoto / Time Capsule – Porsche 935

This collaboration displaying a life-size die-cast toy box from Time Capsule, contained an 800-horsepower, twin-turbo 1982 Porsche 935 K3 built by Bisimoto. The car itself was designed to represent a “time capsule” of history and design, and was of course, Cooled by CSF.

SMG Werks – 911R

SMG Werks in Pasadena is a premier boutique Porsche restoration shop specializing in restoring and customizing 911s. For their first SEMA show they debuted their “Wasabi” 911R Outlaw. Jack’s (the owner) build philosophy, the individual pieces of the car made even more sense together. He sees two opposing approaches to Porsche building: the race shops and the service centers, and this car exists somewhere in between. Period correct, to boot – this car retains the original 2.2L spec engine and narrow body that it would’ve had in 1970, despite ample opportunity to swap a larger engine or add wider fenders.

The outlaw spirit is alive and well with this car, with inclusions like CSF cooling (CSF #8242 & CSF #8168), the interior interface of switches and toggles, custom exhaust, or the (much) wider wheels. In more eloquent words, Jack expressed to CSF there is far greater reward in upgrading what you have in period to create a car that’s equal parts beautiful and functional, while adding personal touches that modernize the car without compromising its soul.

JDM Builds

Acura/Honda SEMA Builds

Throtl – DC2 K24 Turbo AWD Integra

This AWD Integra is the kind of build many Honda enthusiast dream of. Subaru STI performance with Honda reliability…who wouldn’t want that? The team over at Throtl really did an amazing job putting this car together and it was stunning in person. When the team approached CSF about making the cooling stack for the front, we jumped at the chance! Because this was a custom cooling setup, we reached out to some of our development partners to get this knocked out quickly for SEMA.

Sheepey Race took one of our 24x12x3 Bar & Plate Intercooler Cores (CSF #8067) to fabricate the custom “backdoor” intercooler. They also fabricated the brackets to attach the Rywire Custom Tucked 24×9 Radiator (CSF #8024). You can watch the build video on their channel for all the details.

Building a AWD Turbo Integra!

Maxboost – Honda S2000

CSF has been working with MaxBoost since 2023 and have been a proud partner for their Race Car. This supercharged S2K is running the Rockstar Garage Dual-Pass Radiator made by CSF (CSF #7009D) along with a custom mounted Dual-Pass Oil Cooler (CSF #8119) feed by the bumper intake scoop.

Blackvue x Genesis 1 Auto Concepts – Honda S2000

Rowie of Genesis 1 Auto Concepts has been running CSF on all of his builds for years. When he reached out about this S2K SEMA project we were more than happy to be on board. This beauty features our AP1/AP2 S2000 High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator (CSF #7009) and a custom mounted Dual-Pass internal/external Oil Cooler (CSF #8066).

Infiniti SEMA Builds

Moto IQ x Infiniti USA – Infiniti QX80 R-Spec

INFINITI USA teamed up with the engineering masterminds at Moto IQ to build this QX80 R-Spec. Featuring a GT-R sourced 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that has received extensive modifications to be capable of 1,000 horsepower. Some of these upgrades included a custom dual oil cooler setup featuring two Universal Dual-Pass Oil Coolers (CSF #8119).

Mitsubishi SEMA Builds

Evasive – Mitsubishi Evo 9

Evasive Motorsports’ Project EVO after nearly 15 years of collecting dust. This car won the Limited AWD Class at the Super Lap Battle at Buttonwillow in 2011. It’s finally been resurrected with new Voltex WTAC-inspired widebody aero, HKS turbo + internals + upgrades, Radium fueling, KW suspension, MoTeC ECU, Advan GT Beyond-R wheels, and of course, CSF cooling. Featuring our best selling Evo 7/8/9 Full Size Slim All-Aluminum Radiator w/ 12in SPAL Fan (CSF #7075) and a custom mounted and ducted Dual-Pass Oil Cooler (CSF #8110).

It’s Crunch Time: Can We Finish the EVO Before SEMA?

R-Rydes – Mitsubishi Evo 9

While we don’t know a lot about the beautiful Evo, it definitely caught our attention at the show. Many Evo owners reply on CSF to keep their engine cool and this one was no exception.

Toyota SEMA Builds

Moontech – Toyota A90 Supra

If you’re not familiar with Moontech, they are a world renowned custom car builder from Japan. They specialize in high end European and Japanese builds. Lambos and Porsches to Nissan GTRs and Toyota Supras, they build cars many people can only dream of. Their widebody A90 is no exception featuring a full Adro Inc. Widebody Kit and the full CSF A90 Cooling Suite.

a90.mvmnt – Toyota A90 Supra (Adro Widebody)

The first Adro Widebody A90 in the USA is always a treat to see. Ever iteration of this car gets better and better. Like all the best and fasted MK5 Supras in the world, they’re running the full CSF A90 Cooling Suite.

Tukes – RB30 Swapped A90 Supra

You may call it blasphemy, but CSF loves unique engine swaps. So when Tukes (host of the Street Alpha Podcast) approached us to help cool his RB swapped A90 Supra, we couldn’t say no. Putting an RB motor into this car presented some unique challenges. One of which was the cooling system. The Nissan RB is quite different than the B58 for both the engine cooling setup and the charge air system.

Tukes decided to custom mount a CSF x TopRank R32 Billet Radiator (CSF #7217) for easy plumbing to the RB30 Block. For the intercooler he selected our MAGNUM 1000HP+ Intercooler Core (CSF #8040). The 3.2L stroked RB30 (RB26 head) is already making 1000hp and he is aiming to hit 1500hp when all is said and done.

What Influencers REALLY Think of My RB90 Supra at SEMA *Worse Than I Thought*

Jaime Silva – 1967 Toyota Stout

One of the most unique builds CSF was a part of this year was definitely Jaime’s Stout. This lowrider minitruck was a huge hit the Hoonigan lot because this truck is more than meets the eye. Under the rusty patina lies more custom work than you’ll find in 90% of SEMA builds. The frame was custom built to allow for the ground scraping ride height. Engine work goes far beyond the normal for this 2RZ including the hand made valve cover and intake manifold.

To keep the whole setup cool and allow for extra room in the engine, Jaime used two King Coolers (CSF #7065) mounted in the bed next to the air tank and compressors.

Thanks for coming

There were so many great Cooled by CSF builds at SEMA this year we didn’t have enough time to really get a close look at all of them. Hopefully we can catch you at the next show! We want to thank everyone who came out to SEMA 2025 to support CSF and all who use CSF Cooling Product on their builds.
