Design & Engineering
When designing this new cooler, CSF wanted to ensure the best possible performance with factory like fitment. This oil cooler is a truly unique design using CSF’s AC Condenser Technology. The 1-Row Super-High Pressure 32mm 10-Channel Microtube provides optimal oil flow and maximum surface area contact.
With many motorsports teams and race enthusiasts now pushing over 1000 horsepower, the B58 is seeing oil temperatures well above normal. Once oil temperatures pass a safe limit the G2X/G42 will go into limp mode. Needless to say this can ruin a race, track session, or your overall driving fun in general. CSF is here to keep your B58 running at peak performance.

CSF vs OEM
The CSF Oil Cooler utilizes a Super-High Pressure Microtube core which offers superior cooling performance over the traditional tube and fin design of the OE unit. The core volume was increased by 14% by increasing the core thickness from 28mm to 32mm.

By keeping the factory mounting location and relative dimensions, the factory ducting and shrouds are all reused with no modifications necessary. In addition, CSF added a rock guard to keep the cooler safe. You’ve no doubt heard horror stories about an OEM cooling getting punctured and spilling oil all over the road or track. Now you can feel safer and more confident that your oil system is safe from road debris.

*Fitment Note:
Only Fits G2X Models with the BMW B58D Motor. If your M340i or M440i has the B58N Motor, the Engine Oil Cooler was not available. Please check your VIN to be sure you have the S33TA Motorsport Engineering Package and B58D motor.
You will need to drill out the two rivet nuts to remove the two oil cooler bash guards. CSF supplies new threaded M6 rivet nuts and m6 bolts to secure the bash guards upon installation of the CSF oil cooler
