Design & Engineering

CSF & Full-Race engineers identified this vulnerability during extensive real-world testing of F-150 and Raptor models under demanding conditions. Having to stop and wait for your engine to cool down is more than just an inconvenience, it is a limitation that shouldn’t exist in modern trucks. Especially not a Raptor.
An upgraded radiator helps eliminate the concern of overheating. These advanced designs feature larger 2-Row, 42mm aluminum cores which increase the fluid capacity of the radiators, and greatly improves heat dissipation. CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the ultra-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. The result is a dramatic temperature reduction under all driving conditions.

CSF #8094 (2010-2014 Raptor & F-150)
The factory radiators for the 12th Generation F-150s and 1st Gen Raptors were definitely ample for daily driving and even light towing. However, even the larger radiator on trucks with the Super Cooling Package can’t always keep up with hauling in adverse conditions and/or extreme off-roading. The CSF design offers:

Modular Design
CSF Designed the radiator with modular fittings for a larger application range. There are two fittings for the lower radiator connection. Simply match yours to one of the two options and screw it in place. There are two plugs and barb fittings as well for the two different reservoir designs. This allows you to set up the radiator to fit any factory configuration, as well as convert to a different type overflow/reservoir.

CSF #8095 (2017-2020 Raptor & 2015-2025 F-150)
The 13th/14th Gen F-150s / 2nd Gen Raptors received what many would consider an undersized radiator. This was the first generation to offer the new EcoBoost motors and there were some kinks to work out. The extra heat from the turbo charged engines definitely put more pressure on the factory cooling system.
While some owners never pushed their rigs hard enough to notice, those who did quickly found the factory system lacking. In addition, these trucks are getting to the age where radiators need to be replaced as a maintenance item. If you are going to be doing the labor, you might as well install the best possible radiator. Upgrading to the CSF Radiator offers:

CSF #8303 (2021-2025 Raptor & F-150)
Ford definitely learned some lessons from previous generations and gave some 14th Generation F-150s / 3rd Gen Raptors a pretty decent radiator. While the factory system seems to cope with modifications better than previous generations, more people are pushing these new rigs harder than ever. Bigger turbos, more boost, heavier accessories, etc, all increase heat output of the motor.

5mm Core Upgrade
While the first prototypes with CSF’s 6.5mm fin performed extremely well in testing, CSF always seeks to offer the ultimate cooling solution. Before going into final production the design was updated to incorporate CSF’s latest 5mm fin technology which was introduced at the end of 2023. This new core specification offers even more heat transfer area and thermal efficiency than the tested prototypes. CSF is confident this radiator is ready to take on the most demanding conditions in the world.
